After breakfast we joined Rick and Nikki Kennard and went to Avery Island There we went to the Tabasco Factory and to the Jungle Garden. Rick did the driving. Toured the Tabasco factory and watched a movie that showed how they manufacture the sauce from scratch. After the tour we went to their gift shop and bought all kinds of Tabasco flavor sauces. We also had a taste of ice cream flavored with Chipotle sauce.Also bought some jams for Cori.
After the Tabasco tour we went on a tour to the Jungle Garden.
After the tours we went to Cochon Restaurant for dinner. Ear,Rick and Nikki had catfish and I had oyster bacon sandwich. We also had fried alligator for our appetizer. 1st time to taste alligator meat. Like anything else it taste like chicken.
