RV Trip to New Orleans-Mardi Gras 2013

Left Eloy,Arizona at 8:17 am and headed for Lordsburg, New Mexico. Stayed here for 1 night. Arrived at this KOA at 1:50pm. The owner of this KOA is Filipino. Had late lunch. After we settled in we went to the office and chat with the owner. She said we brought some Rver's in and the park got busy. Watched the Presidential Inauguration on TV. Had a quiet and restful night. Tomorrow is another traveling day.

Left Lordsburg KOA at 7:52 am for Van Horn, Texas.

Earl ran into a curb when entering the gas station and the motorhome shook so hard that it opened and almost emptied the refrigerator.It scared Alisto and also broke the barrier between the refrigerator and kitchen counter.
Arrived in Van Horn KOA Texas at 3:32 pm their time. Stayed here for 2 nights.
Cooked dinner and had pork chop, potatos with mushroom soup and peas for veggies.

Our 2nd day here in Van Horn, Texas. Red Rock Ranch is located in this town.
We didn't do much today, we just rested after driving 300 miles straight. It was a stressful drive due to the wind. Gusty winds are scary, you just don't know when it's going to hit you.

Had Parmesan rice and chicken for lunch and leftovers for dinner.
