Douglas-Wyoming Day 6

Saturday, May 14, 2011- Day 6
Earl woke up at 6:20 and I woke up at 7:30. It was a very cold and crispy morning. Very cloudy and looked like snow anytime. We joined the KOA host at the office for coffee and muffin. Had a very good conversation about the area and the place where we're going.
Went to their little town and drove around. Stopped at Douglas Railroad Interpretive Center and looked around. The Pioneer Museum was closed. The tee pee used in the movie "Dances with Wolves" was here. From there we went shopping at their Wal Mart equivalent, forgot the name. From there we went to their Old Ice Cream Parlor and had some ice cream, in spite of the freezing weather. I'm kind a lazy to cook so we stopped at KFC and had some chicken, biscuits, mashed potato and gravy.
Went back to the RV and had our lunch. After lunch we just relaxed and dozed off. It's a sleeping weather.
At 4:45 pm we left for church. Attended mass at St. James Catholic Church. A very nice church.
After church we went back to our rig.

RVing to the Dakotas-Douglas-Wyoming-Day 5

Friday-May, 13,2011 Day 5
Left Lyman at 7:45 am. Another day on the road. Took our time and enjoyed the boring scenery. Earl was a little bit stress driving today on a 2 way road. Very windy and a lot of gusty winds all the way to Douglas,Wyoming our destination for today.
Stopped at Wyoming's Independence Rock Center, also a rest area. Walked around the area and watch people climbed the Independence Rock.
Arrived at Douglas KOA at around 3:30 pm. Staying here for 3 days. With the KOA promo we were given 1 free night. Warm and sunny but very windy.
Earl hooked up the rig and cooked spaghetti for dinner. We love spaghetti especially when I cook it.

RVing to the Dakotas-Lyman-Wyoming- Day 4

Thursday, May 12, 2011 Day 4
Left Beaver KOA, Utah at 8:00 am.
Had lunch at Echo Canyon at 12:00 pm. Had salami and cheese sandwich,veggies and dips, and fruits for lunch.
Went through the city of Provo, Utah to highway 189 to I-80. Beautiful scenery,winding and steeped road. The Provo river is parallel to the road we took.
Arrived in Lyman at 2:30 pm. Earl hooked up the RV. Fixed chicken salad sandwich for our dinner.
The weather was cool. It was a nice relaxing day. Went for a walk around the park. No wi-fi and TV at this KOA. Played spider solitaire, watched an old movie on my computer and read a book before calling it quit for the night.

RVing to the Dakotas-Beaver, Utah-Day 3

Wednesday, May 11-2011 Day 3
Left Las Vegas at 7:20 am on the way to Beaver, Utah our 2nd stop.
It was warm and sunny when we left Las Vegas and as we got closer to Utah the weather had changed completely. It was windy, cloudy and rainy in some area.
We stopped in a rest area and had our lunch. I had jalapeno cheese sandwich, salami and coke for lunch and a German milka chocolate for dessert. Earl had salami and cheese sandwich and blueberry muffin for his dessert. Alisto had dry food and Fancy feast for his lunch
Arrived at KOA in Beaver at 1:45 pm. As soon as we checked in it started raining. Earl had to wait for the rain to stop before he was able to hook up the RV.
The rain sure made us sleepy so we all took a nap that includes Alisto our cat. It was a good relaxing afternoon. Hot dog and chili sounded good for dinner on this kind of weather, so that's what I fixed. Hhhmm good. We spent the rest of the night watched TV.

RVing to the Dakotas-Oasis Las Vegas Resort Day 2

Day2 Tuesday-5-10-11
Our 2nd day in Las Vegas.
Earl woke up at 6:00 am and went for a walk at the resort. He had blueberry muffin and milk for breakfast. I woke up at 10:30 and it's almost lunch time. Instead of fixing lunch in the RV we decided to go to South Point Casino for lunch. Went to their buffet. After lunch we tried our luck at the slot machines. As usual we are just plain losers. It took my $20 just like that. You can tell we aren't gamblers, after losing $20 we quit. It's time to go back to the RV. Relaxed and updated my blog. Earl took a nap again with Alisto our cat.
At 5:30 pm we went to see Rusty and Melanie at their house. They moved to Vegas from Glendale,Ca last year. So far they loved the place,quiet neighborhood and a very nice home. Visited with them for a while. Melanie took us to Krazy Buffet for dinner. Had good visit and at the same time enjoyed the food. Went back to the RV at around 10:30pm.

Monday, 5-9-11
Left Chino Hills at 7:45 am for our 1st stop Las Vegas. Arrived in Las Vegas at 1:15pm and checked in at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort. Earl hooked up the RV and after everything was done we had our spaghetti lunch. Relaxed, watch TV and napped. We had smoked salmon,crackers and grapes for dinner. The weather was cold and rainy. It rained quite a bit during the night. Alisto enjoyed it as much as we did. Alisto is our cat.

March 6,2011 Day of Departure

From Pangasinan we went to Makati to spend a few hours with the Gano family. My girlfriend's family. We were invited to have dinner with them before we left for the States and at the same time also an early birthday celebration for me. It was a surprise for me.
From there Jojo Gano and her mom took us to the airport just 20 minutes from their place.
Thank you to the Gano family for their hospitality.
