Monday, May 16, 2011 - Day 8
Left Douglas, Wyoming at 8:20 for Hill City, South Dakota. Gassed at Conoco and took 50 gallons for $202 dollars. The trip was very stressful for Earl. It was very windy and lots of gusty winds all the way to our destination. As soon as we got to South Dakota the road got narrower and steeper.
Arrived at Hill City KOA around 1:30pm. After Earl hooked up the RV we relaxed and snacked smoked salmon
and crackers. Looked around the area, took shower and at 5:15 we had lunch at the Ponderosa Restaurant at the campground. Back to the RV after dinner and watched TV the rest of the evening.
